MILAN DESIGN WEEK
The global stage of design

Milan Design Week stands as one of the most important events on the international design calendar. From April 20 to 26, 2026,
the Fuorisalone transforms Milan into an open-air creative stage, unfolding alongside the Salone del Mobile.
Across the city — from Brera to Tortona, and through the Navigli and Porta Venezia districts — installations, exhibitions, and pop-up showrooms take over the urban landscape. Leading design brands, international studios, and cultural institutions unveil exclusive projects, turning Milan into a true laboratory of contemporary experimentation. Far beyond a parallel event, the Fuorisalone has become
a global cultural and economic ecosystem, shaping future trends in design, architecture, and contemporary lifestyles.

MAISON POUENAT
Exhibits its latest creations
at milan design week

Founded in France in 1880, Maison Pouenat embodies a refined contemporary vision of metalwork, elevating metal into a language of sculptural and decorative expression. Rooted in the French decorative arts tradition, the House bridges heritage craftsmanship and contemporary design, combining centuries-old ironworking expertise with bold forms, architectural precision, and singular decorative patinas.
Maison Pouenat collaborates with leading international architects and designers, creating bespoke pieces where metal interacts seamlessly with noble materials such as marble, alabaster, wood, glass, and plaster.

This dialogue between materials defines its signature aesthetic: precise, expressive, and deeply architectural. With over 140 years of history, the Maison continues to uphold its founding values — Excellence, Boldness, and Generosity — while remaining firmly oriented toward contemporary creation. Its work today resonates far beyond France, inspiring architects and designers worldwide in their search for unique, timeless, and expressive interior statements.

For Milan Design Week 2026, under the theme “The Sublimated Designs”, Maison Pouenat presents a curated selection of fifteen iconic pieces, reinterpreted through its distinctive finishes and showcased within an immersive scenography. The installation offers a refined and atmospheric experience where craftsmanship, innovation, and creative dialogue converge, expressing a timeless yet forward-looking vision of design. On view from April 20 to 26 in Milan, the presentation highlights the Maison’s ongoing commitment to artistic collaboration and material excellence.
